These are programs and utilities that I used to recommend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zone Alarm<\/td>Personal firewall, blocks hackers from getting onto your pc. Very easy to setup and use.<\/td>http:\/\/www.zonelabs.com<\/a><\/td><\/tr>
CPU-Z<\/td>Looks at your CPU & motherboard to show all the info you ever needed<\/td>https:\/\/www.cpuid.com\/<\/a><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Pop Up Stopper<\/td>Kills all those annoying pop up windows. Only works for Internet Explorer – Not AOL<\/td>To allow genuine pop ups hold the shift key then click on the link you want.<\/td><\/tr>
DVD2One<\/td>Encrypts DVDs<\/td> <\/td><\/tr>
Clean Up<\/td>Deletes History, Cookies, Web Cache, etc<\/td> <\/td><\/tr>
SpyBot<\/td>Deletes Spyware * NOW VERSION 1.3 *<\/td>To get new updates you need to install version 1.3 as version 1.2 stopped allowing updates at the beginning of 2004.<\/td><\/tr>
Mail Washer<\/td>Filters email for spam before you download with your normal email prog<\/td><\/td><\/tr>
Drive Rescue<\/td>Recovers deleted (but not shredded) files. Even recovers drives that have been quick formatted<\/td> <\/td><\/tr>
Ad-Aware SE<\/td>Deletes those naughty little programs, files, cookies and registry entries that send your web surfing info to advertisers and worse!<\/td><\/td><\/tr>
WS FTP LE<\/td>Free FTP program. (File Transfer Protocol – use it to upload files to your website or get files from other websites)<\/td><\/td><\/tr>
Kazaa++<\/td>A bit like Napster – download MP3 music files plus loads of other files.<\/td><\/td><\/tr>
Power Strip<\/td>Snoops directly into your graphics card to identy make, model, serial number and loads more info. Also offers tools and tweeks.<\/td><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
